Support surveys

How many of you fill out the Novell support surveys (assuming you get them)?

Just wondering if I'm the only one.

and yes, if I get good service I make sure to note that in the call (sometimes I'll even ask for the Supervisor's name and send a separate email as well)

and if I get poor service I let them know too.

The one time I called Novell support they wanted to charge me $700
before I even asked the question (refundable if it was a known or
manufacturers problem). I opted to search the Internet and use the
newsgroup. Problem solved and money saved.

On a happy note at least I could understand the support assistant.

That's the only time I've ever called support. That's one reason why I
don't think selling support is such a great sales pitch. Especially
when they charge you several grand for 3 calls or something like that.
Most of the time the internet and support forums resolve my problems.

I do. The last one I did I left some really nasty comments because I
was completely displeased. I assumed no one would read them. I was
wrong. I couldn't believe the response I received. In fact, I was
quite impressed with how much Novell wanted to fix the problems I had
with my SR. IMO everyone should fill these things out, whether they had
a good or bad experience.
