Re: System Problems

Boot off the CD and do a repair with out a recovery disk. This will take
you to a DOS prompt. I've had this happen a few times on various systems in
the past, "fixmbr" and "fixboot" will usually clear these problems up. Best
part is that it's completely harmless.

Re: System Problems

I've found that if I use DeOoxIT

Home - CAIG Laboratories, Inc.

right off the bat (when a box starts to act strange) the problems go away.

If I use the product when building the box, I rarely get flaky startups.

Oh.. and you can buy the stuff at Radio Shack.

Weird how that happens. We had it happen here after server had been
running over a year.

Re: System Problems

Miles:

Not too sure it was related to USB. The keyboard is USB and it worked
fine...wouldn't there be a problem with a USB keyboard if it were a USB
issue? : )

Re: System Problems

The system is running fine now, on all existing equipment. And at the
time, booting off the CD wasn't working. : )
