Which VM software were you using? I've tried a few times, but I don't
know whether I have seriously duff OS/2 media or it just doesn't like
any of the VM hosts I've tried it on 😞

VMWare workstation 5.5.3

You need to edit the .vmx and change the guestos line to:

guestOS = "os2experimental"

Pack rat for a client ... they still have NW3.11 5.25" floppies,
LANWorkplace for DOS, Gupta SQL Base, NetWare 4.10, GroupWise 4.1 ..........

Ah, I guess I need to upgrade then, I'm on 4.something still -- it has
the "os2experimental" option but it still doesn't boot properly 😞
