Things are sprouting!

My seedlings are sprouting...the hybrid tomatoes are in the lead, with the
beans lagging way behind. I'm so itchy to get my fingers in dirt that I
started filling pots with compost this weekend. (We got flurries all
weekend).

Will spring ever really get here?

Doesn't seem like it, does it? We got a few inches of snow here
yesterday and today, actually looks like 3-4 inches on the garage roof.

😞

I don't believe it will. Had a blizzard last sun nite, mon, & tues,
took several days to dig out.

Another 'blizzard' type storm hit last night, snowin, cold, about 30mph
winds. Supposed to be like this til tonight sometime, then another
snow on wed & yet another one thurs or fri......sigh

Guess March must've come in like a lamb here cuz it's leavin like a
majorly p***ed off lion.

My peppers came up a couple of weeks ago.

Yep, that one's supposed to hit us on Wednesday - great April Fool's joke.
Too bad it's also my 15th wedding anniversary...will make going out to
dinner a tad colder.

Mine are still holding out...not sure why. So I'll be on round #2 of those
this weekend. (I tend to plant 2nd and 3rd sets a few weeks apart.)

Well, the road construction crew is quiet today. Which I don't like, I'd
rather they were able to get on with it.

Ah. These Hungarian peppers are really hearty, so I only need one batch
unless I plant too early and get a nasty freeze. Otherwise they'll keep
on producing peppers all summer long, and into the fall until we get the
first big freeze.

Yeah, nice bd present for me, here, here's a bunch more snow & cold,
seeing as how you've dealt w/ it for a couple weeks & have been sick.

Re: Things are sprouting!

Yum! I'm waiting for the storms to pass this weekend and am hoping I can
put up my portable greenhouse next weekend. Then I can really get my hands
dirty. And hopefully my new composter will be here by then too.

I think spring's here over this side of the pond as SWMBO just started
planting out this weekend - I dunno, it's all green stuff to me!
