Re: Whatcha' using for a anti-spam solution?

just switched from Guin 2 to GWAVA 4 on SLES10 - for the first few days it
was a huge improvement. Now its happily tagging 90% of the legitimate
messages as spam...<sigh>

I'm thinking postini next year since google cut the price to $3/user.

I was using Astaro ASG, but it stopped working after a software upgrade.

Using Guin3 and Gwava, block a good 90+% of inbound spam.

Just to be safe. It's Maia Mailguard. Website:
http://www.maiamailguard.com/maia/wiki

Easy to find support. They're actively fixing it
if they find problems. Free. Runs on Linux.
There's a guide out there for putting the latest
version of Maia (1.0.2a) on SLES 10. I followed
that guide and it worked 100%.

Actually, I built two Maia servers and clustered
them via HA and DRBD in case one should fail. 🙂

Symantec Mail Security appliances. In the last 24 hours it has dropped
92.9% of our inbound email on the floor. Our users lurve it. IIRC, this is
the product formerly known as BrightMail.

Re: Whatcha' using for a anti-spam solution?

They bought Brightmail to be sure. I assume that's what their motivation
was.
