Mary:

And I'm happy for you. Being able to get a favorite food or beverage
is one of those small things in life that can actually make a huge
difference to us. : )

It reminds me of long-lost days of fun & sun in So. Calif. 🙂 Kind of
tastes like that too.

I need a way back machine today...wouldn't mind being 16 for a day or two
again to remind me what "good knees" feel like. 🙂

Amen! I had my second session of physical therapy today for my arthritis of
the neck. They aim to increase the mobility of my neck and hold off the
horror of hunchback.

Re: Yay! Diet Pepsi with lemon is back

Mary:

I had a day like that a couple of weeks ago, when my memory of living
at home with my parents as a teen was so strong I could feel the
pattern of the brocade coverlet my mother made for my grown-up bed, and
smell the lilacs under my bedroom window. My shoulder was hurting
pretty badly that day, and I was feeling pretty old.

Sorry to hear of your knee difficulties. I have a friend who had both
of her knees done, and wished she had done it many years before. It's
not a fun rehabilitation process, but she walks without pain now... : )
