a conundrum in the news

A tape with "personal data of 650,000 customers" has gone missing at Iron
Mountain.

If the tape is missing, how do they know what's on it?

I still like Iron Mountain's "Backup Trauma" sketch (backuptrauma.com). I'd
buy almost anything from Dr. Harold Twain Weck - an argument, data
protection, a dead parrot, spam...
