cups-1.3.9-8.46.48.1 printer error

Hi,

I am receiving these errors on the error_log of cups when trying to print. Every now and then the printer works but after the queue is empty, the error reappears and users are unable to print again. Cups server is on SLES 11 SP2

You may have better luck getting helpful responses in the SUSE forums at
https://forums.suse.com/ and specifically in those dedicated to SLES.

In the meantime, has this ever worked? Is there a reason you are not on
SP4 (not that I think it will definitely help, but it is an environment
those who can help may have more-available than SP2)? Do other similar
servers exist and work?

Hi,

Thanks for the link, will try that.

Right now it's sporadically working/not working. We are just managing the print queue manually
but is not sustainable.

Server is stuck on SP2 since the apps running is dependent on that level without major
overhaul to the whole thing.
