disabled keys

Anyone know where it can be changed on a win2k box to allow keys to be
enabled?

Have a box, that when it's in windows, keys like alt, ctrl, windows
key, etc are disabled. I'd like to get these working.

I've looked everywhere in gpedit.msc, but can't find anything.

Other suggestions?

Re: disabled keys

What kind of keyboard does it think is installed in windows? Perhaps it
thinks it has something other than a 104.

Thinks it has a standard 102 key kbrd, which is what's on there.

Switch it out with another keyboard to make sure the problem isn't the
keyboard? <G>

Re: disabled keys

Stevo:

Here's the method to disable the Windows key. So you can at least
check the registry to see if it's been disabled with this method:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/216893 : )

It's not the kbrd, cuz the other similar machines we have do the same
thing.

Checked all those type settings, nothing's been set in there, it's set
for a std US 102 key kbrd.
