install problems on dual boot with xp

OK, I looked around all the different forums and, frankly, can't seem to find a place to ask help in solving install issues. Is this the right place?

Re: install problems on dual boot with xp

No, but if you're trying to dual-boot Suse Linux and Windows XP (32-bit), it
works fine.

I suggest installing Windows XP first, then installing OpenSuse. Of course,
you'll want some unpartitioned disk space for Suse to reside on, so you may
have to use PartitionMagic to shrink your existing XP partition. Better
yet, clone your XP disk to a new, larger drive, then install OpenSuse in the
unpartitioned space.

OpenSuse will create a startup (GRUB) menu, allowing you to select the OS to
boot. A little editing, and you can change the default OS back to Windows
XP, if desired.

P.S. The preceding post was *not* "support". It was merely casual
conversation.

It takes both of my boots on the ground to lift one...does that count?
