itunes authorization question (Windows)

Hi,

I've got a hard drive with a hosed Windows XP OS but I could get the
data off by connecting it to a good OS boot. If I copy my iTunes m4p
files to the new OS can I then install iTunes, authorize the account
and play the m4p's ?

Anyone know? I don't need to re download since I have the protected
files intact.

TIA
