novell.com/customercare

Hi all!

The Novell Customer Care or "Novell Center" portal (whatever they're calling it this week) is broken for me. It tells me I have no products registered. Sweet. From about four dozen registered programs to zero in one day.

Anyone else having issues?

Re: novell.com/customercare

Well, not as bad as you, but our list of products is all screwed up.
Reminds me of when it used to be Customer Care, then became Customer Center.
Maybe 3rd time (how about "Novell Super-Duper Customer Care Center") will be
the charm...

Our Account rep was also listed incorrect. Now it states "Customer Response
Center" for our rep.

We're seriously missing the days when Novell shipped physical media and
license certificates...

Re: novell.com/customercare

Took five tries, but now it seems to be working OK. Took another three tries to get my latest SLES blade server activated - but all is peaceful in wonderland now.

I had the same problem the other day.. Took me a dozen or so tries to
get it properly activated and have an update server register.

Re: novell.com/customercare

You know, if it takes that long, that many tries, to activate just one
server, what admin in their right mind is going to want to do that for 50,
100, or more servers?

Note to Novell: fix it!

Re: novell.com/customercare

I was talking to someone about licencing earlier in the week and they
said most customers were having issues in some way.
The updated ETA I had was it should be fixed within the next few days.

Cheers,

Re: novell.com/customercare

I just went in (again, by accident) and noticed that my Account Rep has
left me. He was there last week, when I went in and sent him an email
asking why they've taken all my stuff away, but apparently, if you
complain, you lose whatever little peace of mind you may have had by
recognizing one name.

Or it could be a bug. Have you reported this change through the feedback
in NCC?

NO. If I say anything, I'm now sure that I'll disappear, and I'm
registered for Brainshare, so I'm not rocking the boat until after that. 🙂

I'm sure you won't disappear, and that we'll still see you at
BrainShare. 🙂

No plans for it at the moment 😞
I guess it depends on whether there's some Novell work that comes up in
the meantime....
