NPUM Agent installation issue on hardened systems

I am going to install NPUM Agnets on AIX , HPUX and Redhat Server. I
will run agent as root. But entire system is read only due to hardened
process. I can not use ju-lion OS. Please any one can help me to provide
path information for Redhat, AIX and HPUX that use by agent for writing
purpose? Also mention files that NPUM Agent 2.4.1 modify during
installation. So I will request admins to unlock them before

Thanks and Regrds

I do not have AIX or HP-UX boxes to check, but at least the Linux versions
of NPUM write files to the locations as specified in the novell-npum
package, and you can analyze that package using the built-in 'rpm' command
prior to installation to see what is created:

rpm -qlp /path/to/novell-npum*

Once done keep in mind that the agents may cache files, so the ability to
create new files within the created directory structures should probably
be allowed to the 'root' user in cases where caching needs to happen.

Good luck.
