Openshift and Docker


One consult, Npam can be implemented on container platforms, of the following versions:

Openshift 3.5 y Docker 1.12
Openshift 3.9 y Docker 1.13

I don't think there is anything specific that would prevent PAM from running in these sorts of container environments, permitted communication can happen properly with other PAM manager servers, etc. For a list of ports that you may need to consider, please refer to TID 7018265 - What ports are used for Privileged Account Manager.

However, I don't think running PAM in container environments has been officially tested & supported, so your mileage may vary.

Please do bring this up in our PAM Idea Portal so it can be discussed in the community and brought to Product Management's attention. I do know they have a plan for this, but it's a discussion more suited to the Idea Portal I believe:
