Re: PAM 3.5: Application SSO Manager Installation faild

This is likely a failure resulting from the NSL installation.

1) Please be sure you have followed the pre-requisite parts of the appsso installation:
https://www.netiq.com/documentation/privileged-account-manager-35/npam_install/data/t46kz1x271je.html

This includes creating the proxy AD user for PAM SSO, extending the AD schema and assigning user rights and configuring Application SSO, etc.

2) Check the nsl.log and nsl_*.log file(s) in "C:\Program Files\NetIQ\npum\service\local" directory on the Windows server.
More details regarding the error should be available in this log as this is thrown by the NSL installation.

Re: PAM 3.5: Application SSO Manager Installation faild

Thank you so much "tdharis" for help, appsso Module has been installled, appreciated.

After installation I have performed all the necessary Pre-reques and created Privileged Credentails Vault and Rule etc.

But when trying to access RempoteApp(APPSSO) via user console i.e myaccess page and I am just getting RDP showing message that "The system cannot find file specified. This Initial
Program cannot be started: || VMware VSphere Client" after that RDP is sign out automatically.

Note: I am trying to access VMware VSphere Client and entered related information in PAM.

I am stuck at this point while in Privileged Credentails Vault I have Entered correct path for VMware which is : "C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\Infrastructure\Virtual Infrastructure Client\Launcher\VpxClient.exe"

Also checked path by entering quotation mark and without but no luck.

screen shot of the Vault and error is as below:

Please help...

Re: PAM 3.5: Application SSO Manager Installation faild

Presuming the location is correct, which if not, would throw this error, then..
If you are using multiple remote host servers, then you would need to install the VMware software on all in the exact same location.
You should also try launching the app directly from Microsoft's rdweb web console and check if that works.

Re: PAM 3.5: Application SSO Manager Installation faild

I just have only one RemoteApp server.

I have again created complete setup and now remoteApp is launcing automatically but I dont know why credentials are not entered automatically by PAM.
While I have configured Account Domain for Appsso in credential vault, Is there any special configuration required for credentials?
screen shot of appsso Credential Vault is as below:

Please help.. I am stuck at this point and want to test this awesome feature of PAM.

Re: PAM 3.5: Application SSO Manager Installation faild

So you are saying that RemoteApp published apps are launching correctly from PAM User Console, but the credential fill feature is not happening, correct?

Can you provide screenshots of how you have these cmdctrl rules configured? Also please provide a screenshot of how you have them positioned in the hierarchy of cmdctrl as well.
The configuration for this from PAM CmdCtrl perspective are the following: https://www.netiq.com/documentation/privileged-account-manager-35/npam_admin/data/t46p7xw1ox1d.html#t46m8uzps329
Note: If you can avoid nested rules with these, please do, otherwise, make special note of "If you are creating nested rules, ensure that you set the Application SSO to Yes in each and every rule in the nested hierarchy." (TID 7023299)

Are there Firewall(s) to be considered here (either network or Windows Firewall) ?
