PAM 3.6 - How do you enable 2fa (OTP) on the SSH relay login, rather than on the relay targets?

How do you enable 2fa (OTP) on the SSH relay login, rather than on the relay targets? IE) When you first connect to the SSH relay and authenticate as your username, have the OTP request there. I currently have it on each relay target (about 20), so I'm prompted for the OTP for every relay target rather than just at the initial login.

I don't believe it's possible yet to configure it in such a way.. If so, there would definitely need to be a session timeout just in case, as I would consider it a security risk to only ask once in case user walks away, etc.

Would you please create this in the PAM Idea Portal so it can be brought to the Product Team's attention? I can see how it would be beneficial to a user's workflow and would be good to approach it in a configurable way.
