Documentation for Search Position Availability page.

I was wondering what is the purpose of "Search Position Availability" page in PPM 9.31 (Open --> Resource Management --> Analyze Resources --> Search Position Availability). There is no reference of it in Resource Management User Guide for 9.30. Can some please shade some light on this functionality?

Check under "Using the Resource Finder" in the Help Center of PPM.

 

Search Resource Availability is a generic resource availability search capability which you would get as part of Resource Finder.

Hi Abhijeet,

 

Search Position Availability option appears only when you have the Run Position Finder access grant. This option opens Position Finder that is a feature PPM designed for LDSM project only. 

 

This feature enables you to find suitable positions for resources. Since we are not sure if this feature applies to all the customers, we did not publish it. If you have further interest in it, kindly let us know. Thanks.
