Using Web Services to update a task in a Workplan is not working proper

The customer wants PPM UpdateTaskStatus service to be able to remove any exceptions.

Currently, UpdateTaskStatus Webservice does not remove exceptions.
This limitation means that it is not possible to remove some exceptions

(for example: Starting late, Running late, No resources assigned )

-----------------

PPM UpdateTaskStatus webservice should remove exceptions in workplan tasks.

I don't quite understand this requirement - Tasks exceptions are not something you can remove, you should get rid of them by solving the root cause. For example, if you have an exception about the lack of a resource, you need to assign a resource to this task.

If you want to modify a task to get rid of the Exception, just do so with the REST API - it can do everything you can do on the QuickView work plan, so that includes assigning resource or changing schedule dates - that should take care of your exceptions.

We will not add any new capabilities to the SOAP Web Services.
