Сarriage return in a portlet's text column.

Hello!

There is a custom request type field with "Text Area - 4000" validation and I'm trying to show it's content (and download it into Excel subsequently).

But… The issue is that having a structured text (with carriage return) entered in the field - something like this:

"Stream1: Description of stream1.

  Stream2:Description of stream2"

in a portlet column (and in Excel) I receive the text without carriage return:

"Stream1: Description of stream1. Stream2:Description of stream2".

I wonder how to solve this?

Thanks in advence!

Re: Сarriage return in a portlet's text column.

Hello Aleksey,

Could you please tell me wich is your PPM version? I found a similar case reported that  Export to Excel on the Request List portlet loses formatting of Text Area fields with carriage return. Please take a look on the following URL:

Re: Сarriage return in a portlet's text column.

I'm not sure the case you mention is similar to mine... because:

1. It's said that the issue is fixed in 9.2 and we have 9.22

2. It's said

Export to Excel on the Request List portlet loses formatting of Text Area fields

"

while in my case the formatting is lost even in the portlet.
