9.22 Upgrade - Error on Project Details page

We recently upgraded to 9.22 in our development environment.

 

There are noticeable issues with the Project Details tab using Internet Explorer 8.

 

After clicking on the "Project Details" tab, the page often does not load and instead is just a white blank page.  IE gives the "errors on page" message, with the following error:

We have plans to get 9.22 deployed to Prod within the next couple of months - so need to get any issues such as this resolved, hopefully quickly.

Hi Danny,

 

Please install the attached hotfix following these steps,

 

[installation step]

1. download and unzip the file

2. copy 922-HOTFIX-QCIM1L53446-V1.jar to <PPM HOME>

3. go to bin folder and run sh kDeploy.sh -hotfix 922-HOTFIX-QCIM1L53446-V1.jar  

 

[files deployed] <PPM_HOME>\server\<PPM_SERVER>\deploy\itg.war\web\knta\crt\js\RequestDetailNew.js 

 

[un-installation]

kDeploy.sh -undeploy 922-HOTFIX-QCIM1L53446-V1

 

[Comment] Clear the temporay file in IE8 at client before open the Project details page

I just applied the hotfix but unfortunately the error still occurs.

 

Anything else I can try?

The workaround was to go to the Project Summary and then go back to the Project Details and then in loads as expected.

Can you see if this is the same behavior?

 

 

And then when deploying a hotfix, I think this will tie back to clearing the cache of PPM (deleting that tmp and work directories and restarting everything back up mentioned in the Forum thread with the kJSPCompile.sh error), so let's also see if this helps.

Could you please check if you deployed the patch on all the nodes? Also, please check if IE temporary files are cleared.

Nobody has received the issue in a couple days, so maybe it's fixed.  Will wait and see.  Randull - we only have a single node in our Dev environment.
