9.31 Import Users Report not adding multiple security groups

Hello, we recently upgraded from 9.14 to 9.31.  In running the Import Users report, we are now seeing that when trying to add MULTIPLE security groups, the groups are not being added to the new imported user's profile in the workbench.  Does anyone know or received reports of any changes that may have occurred to this report?  Is there a way to manually workaround this issue, such as trying to edit the report's JSP for example?  This is causing us some administration headaches in that the report now only allows a security group to be added one at a time, in separate report runs.   Wanted to know if anyone had heard of any issues around this or any suggestions to fix.  Thanks.  Frank

Re: 9.31 Import Users Report not adding multiple security groups

Hello  Frank,

I am attaching the Operational Reporting guide for PPM 9.30. Please take a look on page 10 and onwards:

When importing users, it is possible to specify how the user is assigned to specific security groups. This is accomplished using a combination of the following fields from the Import Users report:

Security Groups

User Security Group Action

Add Missing Security Groups

Hope his helped you.

Best Regards.

Carolina Gutierrez.

Re: 9.31 Import Users Report not adding multiple security groups

Hello Carolina, thank you for your reply.  Yes we understand the use of the IMPORT USERS report thru the Open Interface doc.  The LDAP attributes such as user id, email, phone, etc are correctly being added to PPM.  What we are seeing is an issue is when adding Security Groups also to the id.  If we have more than one security group in the 'Security Groups' field of the report, none of those groups show up attached to the id after importing.   If we only select 1 group to be added, that group is added to the id.   I have already opened a case with HP on this but I just wanted to ask the Forum if any others had run into this issue and if they either fixed or did a workaround.   It appears some changes may have occurred with the Import process for 9.31 and just wanting to ask if anyone was aware of that.   Thank you.
