Alternatives for SSH beyond Cygwin/Vhsell for Windows 2008?
We have been using PPM deployment workflows for many years and always connected to targets using Cygwin. Our server engineering team is starting to push back on installing Cygwin on new server builds due to the extra overhead it causes for them, as well as all the issues we have had. According to the Systems Requirements and Compatibilty Matrix, only Cygwin and Vshell are listed. Is anyone running any other SSH clients? Is Cygwin our only option?

Thats true, we don't have much choice for WINDOWS server.
You can use FTP and Telnet, but probably your netwrok team might not agree.
