Auto-Populating Package User Data when Creating Package from a Request

I have a Request Type that has a step where it allows the creation of a Package. Some fields on the Package, such as Description and Assigned To, automatically come over from the Request Type to the Package. Is there a way to create a custom field in the Package User Data that matches a custom field in the Request Type, and have it auto-populate when creating the package?

I have tried creating a User Data field with the same token as the corresponding field on the Request Type, but it did not populate. This tactic works when creating new requests where the fields' tokens match, but did not work with the Package User Data.

Thank you for any assistance.

Re: Auto-Populating Package User Data when Creating Package from a Request

Hello

Hope you are doing well.

Like this is a custom field , the token can be use only in ootb items.

Maybe creating a custom token for the fields that are custom can help.
Other thing to consider is during the migration the token only resolve the OOTB tokens.

Re: Auto-Populating Package User Data when Creating Package from a Request

I have a custom field on the request type called Configuration Item. The token is [REQD.P.P_CONF_ITEM]. I am trying to create a custom field in Package User Data also called Configuration Item and with the same token (P_CONF_ITEM). I didn't fully understand your response, but were you saying this is not possible to have the value be transferred automatically from the request to the package?
