CLASSPATH variable while installing 9.20

Jump to solution

I am finally installing version 9.20 but running into a slight issue.

I am getting a "The installer cannot run because libraries under lib were not added to the classpath" error during my install.  When I try to create the variable, it still does not work.  Prior to this error, I did have to add my JAVA_HOME variable.

What am I missing that my variables are not being created???

JAVA_HOME = C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_03

It is possible that the space in "Program Files" is affecting your install.

Install your jdk at C:\Java and set your JAVA_HOME again.

Hi, ChristineK.

As I know, all variable which you need is:

JAVA_HOME(e.g. "C😕java\jdk1.7.0_17\")

ORACLE_HOME

Are you sure that you printed actual way to them?

Best Regards,

Check the install doc for 9.2 again.

    For windows

      - Set JAVA_HOME

      - Add %JAVA_HOME%\bin to the Path variable

My variables are set to the following

JAVA_HOME = C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_03

Path = %SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\system32\wbem;%JAVA_HOME%\bin

I do NOT have a CLASSPATH or ORACLE variable.

Simply set java home location in "PATH" system variable; also make sure that Oracle paths are also set in "PATH" varaiable.

This will make your java home accesable globally. You might need to restart the server machine.

Cheers..
