Carriage return in list portlet text field.

Jump to solution

Hello everybody!

I have a data source with text field containing "carriage return" symbol. In workbench SQL-runner tool the result is OK - two separate strings, but in portlet column the value is represented as a solid string without carriage return.

How to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

Try replacing the carriage return character with <br>. Many fields are interpreted by the browser as html.

Hi AlekseyG,

Could you please share with us the query you are using and some screenshots of the portlet?

Best regards,
Randall
