Change Projectname in the database

Jump to solution

Hello,

I need to change 2 project names directly in the database. I read the Data Model Guide and wanted to be sure whether the table kcrt_fg_pfm_project, field PROJECT_NAME, is right to change. Are there any other points to consider?

The SQL Update Statement:

update kcrt_fg_pfm_project
set project_name='HD1'
where request_id=30333

Regards,

Ramazan

Hi,

thank for your answer.

Is there a possibility to change the name in the HP PPM Website, e.g. Project Page?

It is a field on the Request Details (In the header) page.  Make sure it's editable and you can change it, though most of the time, it gets marked as Display Only.
