Config PPM to new AD server

Hi experts,

We have new AD server, and need to link PPM to it.

Can help to advise what we need to change? Is it done via Admin Console or kConfig.sh?

Thanks for your help!

Re: Config PPM to new AD server

Hi RyanLong,

Please let us know the purpose of link to new AD? Is that for authenciate for LDAP users? If so you can config in server.conf or kCOnfig.sh  run kUpdate.html to apply the changes.

Re: Config PPM to new AD server

Hi Ryan,

I suppose you're using AD for LDAP Authentication & eventually for user information import (Import Users report)

If you are moving from an old AD environment to a new one, you can have both AD servers configured in PPM ; it will first to authenticate against the first one, and if it fails, against the next one. That might be helpful in having a smooth AD transition on PPM.

Please refer to the PPM administration documentation on how to configure one (or more) LDAP servers: http://ppm-help.saas.hpe.com/en/9.41/Help/Content/SA/Install&Admin/109650_InstallAdmin_Auth.htm

Thanks,

Etienne.
