Re: Date showing in different language in Notification from PPM

Hi Ram,

are we 'talking' about a single notification that was sent with the date in the wrong locale, or is there a pattern? A certain part of the application sending notifications, a certain rquest type, a certain whatever that always sends the notifications this way?

Has anything been changed?

Have you installed a service-pack or similar?

If it was just one notification, it may just have been a hickup. Else you need to narrow down to what kind of notification it was and then give some information that relates to it.

Best regards,

Re: Date showing in different language in Notification from PPM

We had the same problem (The laguage in some notifications was in English instead Spanish).

This was labs' answer:

In order to get the notifications as expected the fields R.FORMAT_DISPLAY_TERRITORY, R.FORMAT_DISPLAY_LANGUAGE and R.REGION_FORMAT_CODE should be present on the KNTA_USER_REGIONAL_SETTINGS table. The supported procedure is to force the change via resource profile edit as explain in the case.

If you want to do it from DB we may recomend the following aproach.

1. Check in your enviroment the different users group with a set lf langueje settings that exists. In your case for instance (users in spain, in another regions and so on).
2. Once decided the groups that exists, select 2-3 sample users of each and makes the changes normally via profile management on PPM.
3. checn the table and see what is common on each user of a certain group
4. create an automatic update to update all users of a certain group accorcondly.

You have to do it for users which receive the notification in a wrong laguage.
In our case, we had only one user. We ask for the user to go to "open >administration >edit my profile > regional settings", choose the right language and save changes. If the language is ok, press button Save too.
