Enhancement projects -> update asset or create new asset and link to original asset

Hi Friends,

Business flow is creating proposal > Project > Asset. Once the project is closed and asset is created. How do we manage enhancement/upgrade projects?

At this time, we are creating a new Enhancement/Upgrade proposal (different request type) and then create project. Is it advisable to create new asset for upgrade projects and then link it to the original asset or update the exisiting asset. 

Any inputs or best practices

Hi Ravi,
I believe It all depends on the size of your enhancement, If the enhancement is small, you can add the Enhancement Request(Hope it is a different RT) and attach it to the existing asset.

For upgrade projects which would consume more time, I hope you can create a new business flow.

If you could provide more points on your requirements/pain points we can delve more into it.
