Error 500 while trying to delete the Saved Searches - Micro Focus Community

Hi Experts,

One of the User is getting "Error 500" while trying to delete two of his saved searches.

He is able to delete other searches. Kindly suggest any solution.

Hi BB4,

Who is the guys create that saved search? It could related to permission.

If you used a external web server, like IIS you need to configure to show a meaning message instead of error 500 so you can figure out what is the real issue.

The User himself created the saved searches. Its only for one User that we are getting this Error. WebServer config is in place.

Do you have any other suggestions please

Hi,

You can try to check the serverlog if we can see if we can find more details about this error in serverlog.txt, the file location is PPM_HOME/server/node_name/log

If you used IIS server, follow the steps below to set the way IIS throw the error.

a. Start the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager and access the Error Pages feature.
b. Right-click error 500, and then select Edit Feature Settings from the shortcut menu.
c. Set Error Responses to Detailed errors, restart the IIS and try to delete again.
