Error Navigating Between Project Tabs

Several users have reported seeing an error when navigating between tabs in a project.  (See attachment) The error does not appear in every case, but different users have reported it.  It appears when the user logs into PPM and navigates to one of thier projects without ever having done anything to the project form at all.  Clearing cache on the browser does not help.  Can anyone tell me if they have experienced this issue or knows of a fix for it?  Thanks.

Re: Error Navigating Between Project Tabs

Hi Max,

Hope you are doing well!

Seem your users had some customized their web page with jQuery.

Please try to reinstall web browser and try again.

How about if you test on another web browser like Firefox, Chrome ... ?

Hope this helps,

Re: Error Navigating Between Project Tabs

Not sure I understand what is meant by:

"Seem your users had some customized their web page with jQuery."

We will test in a different browser, but since we are a U.S. Government entity, the requirement is IE.

Thanks.

Re: Error Navigating Between Project Tabs

Max,

Can you confirm that you are version 9.22 or higher?  The message you are seeing is a new feature added to 9.22.  Here is a snippet from the Release Notes document:

Prompt Added on the Project Overview and Time Sheet

Pages

PPM Center version 9.22 introduces a prompt on the Project Overview and Time Sheet pages. It

pops up if you edit some fields under one tab of the pages and go to another tab without saving the

changes.

Clicking OK in the prompt brings you to the desired tab with the changes unsaved. Clicking

Cancel, you stay on the current page.

Re: Error Navigating Between Project Tabs

Hi Max,

Do you have any UI Rule defined on this project type that fire on project details load and maybe set some of the fields value?

Modifying a field (even if setting the field to the same value as before) may mark the field as "modified" and prompt that message when switching to a different tab.

What's surprising is that only some of your users are experiencing this behavior.
