How to make the Notes and Status section appear as collapsed on PPM Request display page?

For the PPM request display page, how could we make the Notes and Status section appear as collapsed, and in the meantime to make the References section appear as expanded?

Thanks

First of all you may test this from user id by keeping any section collapsed / expanded. Then you may relogin and find out it would be the same. (Once you click on any section name, it would be expanded-- so this is not suggested to do according to your requirement).

So all these section changes get stored in "knta_user_section_states" table. The changes are tracked for a particular request_type and logged in user.

You may write page load rule through which call a function to update / insert line (if there is no rows present for the logged in user).

Thanks for the information. We would consider this approach for certain request type.

Hello,

If you are familiar with custom request rules, you can write one..it is easy and it works for any section in any specific request type or all request types.

I have done this in the past to collapse and expand certain sections in a request type and it worked awesome with no issues.

example:

function docollapseSec(sectionName){
        collapseSection(sectionName);
}

Call this in request type:

docollapseSec("EC_REQUEST_NOTES");docollapseSec("EC_REQUEST_WF_STATUS")

inpsect your request and get the correct section names and replace in above.

Now you can play around and do your magic as per your requirement.
