Hi team,

 

We are using HP PPM 7.5 SP3 and using the OOB commands in loading users to the respective tables. the script portion whcih uses the following:

 

ksc_run_java com.kintana.core.server.tools.CheckUserLicense "[TEMP_GROUP_ID]" -licenseList "[P.P_PRODUCT_LICENSES]" 

 

has some issue and is throwing errors.

 

The error found in Report Log is as below:

Were having an issue with the import users report inPPM 10.2. I ggot a response from support, it may help you with what you're dealing with:

 

The following Command Step is not subject to timing out: com.kintana.core.server.tools.CheckUserLicense

This indicates that the license is being checked.
 
Ensure that there is not an over allocating of the available licences when importing users.

Check the current license usage with this query:

select *
from knta_license_usage_v

what is the default password for imported users? try to use a simple password to see whether it will work
