Needed reporting for resource mgmt?

Hi
Were starting up reaource mgmt. I would like to have advice on what kind of reporting are needed to be build (thats not ootb). Both for maintaining the platform and also from the user perspective. Im talking about reports such as keeping demand vs allocation in control etc.
Could anyone share some best practices?

Hello

Maybe you can create a custom report with the data that you need. The information of the tables are in the Data model guide.

Also you can use the Excel Reports Cookbook ( guide attached)

"Excel reports are a new way to create HP PPM reports introduced in PPM Center 9.30. They are completely integrated in PPM Center"

Hello Johan

It depends on your requirements. For example:

1> You can have a report which talks about resource pool capacity and the assignments of your resources with hours and FTE.

2> Other you can consider to have participation % of different resources in your resource pools. It can be only for current participation or historic data as well.

3> Next example can be of a report to view all open demand requests from multiple staffing profiles to your resource pool.

As I said earlier, it all depends on your requirement and your business. Hope given examples will help you.

Shiwan
