Re: Not able to open attachments or open logs after upgrade to 9.40

Hello Sudeep,

Please find attached a hotfix, please try to deploy it in a TEST environment first.

You can see the instructions to deploy it inside the .rar file.

I will be aware of the results.

Thanks,
Bryan.

Re: Not able to open attachments or open logs after upgrade to 9.40

After upgrading from 9.14 --> 9.4, users are receiving the same error when trying to view log files from packages in workbench.  Was a resolution ever provided for this?

Re: Not able to open attachments or open logs after upgrade to 9.40

Have your users open their Edit --> User Profile, and enter their Default Browser in this format:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"

Make sure to include the Quote marks.

Re: Not able to open attachments or open logs after upgrade to 9.40

I appreciate the reply and got really hopeful, but still getting the same error (even tried to point it to Chrome and Firefox as added possibilities).  I have a ticket open with Micro Focus, maybe they know something additional about the issue.

Bummer - I was hoping for an easy fix.  I had a very similar issue a few years ago and that was the simple fix.

Best of luck

Re: Not able to open attachments or open logs after upgrade to 9.40

I tried the hotfix with no resolution, as well.

Of interest is that it looks like the users are "blocked to invoke" based on Access Keys.  However, this is a direct import from an older production version where the privileges/permissions are behaving as expected.  I wonder if the keys changed between 9.14 and 9.4?
