PM Project versus References

Can anyone please define the diference between the field reference PM_PROJECT and adding a 'Project' reference on the References tab?

I understand that you can only get a PFM_PROJECT by incorporating the Project Field Group in a header, but I need to underatnd the difference between that and the link on the References tab.  Thanks in advance.

Re: PM Project versus References

Hi Max,

I found some definitions in the guide:

PFM - Project

This table stores the PPM project entity information.Represents data and process associated with project. This request type is connected to a project type.

Master Project Reference

If the Master Project Reference field on Request field group is linked to a request's request header type, a row will exist in this table for the request.

Let me find more information about these concepts.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Carolina.
