PPM 9.14 Workflow timeout error

Hi,

In server log file we have lot of errors for Workflow Timeout.

ERROR server:ppmLightServiceListenerContainer-2:com.mercury.itg.core.jms.service.impl.ServiceMessageExecutionManagerImpl:2015/11/17-14:04:09.407 IST: ID:135013-14477492493441: Workflow Timeout Reaper is running past its critical runtime threshold(720min).

I found the following information regarding this issue and there is a patch to resolve the issue.

  • QCCR1L45471 “ Workflow Timeout Reaper is running past its critical runtime threshold (720min)”

The patch “kwfl_pending_step_timeouts_v.sql” is compatible to 9.14, there’s no change in this view from 9.12 to 9.14

“How to deploy the patch,

  1. Backup view kwfl_pending_step_timeouts_v.
  2. Run kwfl_pending_step_timeouts_v.sql to update view kwfl_pending_step_timeouts_v.
  3. Commit the change to database.
  4. Restart PPM server.

 

How to remove the patch,

Recovery the view kwfl_pending_step_timeouts_v.  “

Please follow the instructions strictly.
