We are going to upgrade PPM into 9.2 versions. It will be great if you have any documents related to,

  1. Issues faced during upgrade and Action taken to address the issue.
  2. Any useful documents related to upgrade process.

Thank You.

Re: PPM 9.2 UPGRADE EXPERIENCE AND ISSUES

It was a pretty seamless experience, I recently did an upgrade from 9.14 - 9.31 if you are coming from 9.14 I can go ahead and send you a doc I created with the issues I found.

Thanks!

Re: PPM 9.2 UPGRADE EXPERIENCE AND ISSUES

Hello Scorpex,

how did you upgrade 9.3 version? Did you directly upgrade to 9.3 (from 9.14.0010) or did you firstly upgrade to 9.2 and upgrade 9.3 from 9.2?

If you upgrade from 9.140010 to 9.3 directly did you have any problems during upgrade and after upgrade?

thanks,

have a nice day.

Re: PPM 9.2 UPGRADE EXPERIENCE AND ISSUES

Hi Nilay,

In order to upgrade from 9.14 -> 9.30, please follow the steps bellow:

9.14 -> 9.20 -> 9.30

We can't upgrade from 9.14 to 9.30 directly.

Hi Scorpex

Could you please share your doc for me: Personal Info Removed

Re: PPM 9.2 UPGRADE EXPERIENCE AND ISSUES

I have sent the document, please check your inbox.

Also our environment consists of 2 servers and 4 nodes, I only upgraded one server all the way to 9.31 patch0001 and then tar'd it and moved it to the second server, that way I didn't have to do that every time I upgraded.

I went from 9.14 -> 9.20 -> 9.30 -> 9.31 -> patch0001

I hope the document is useful, also keep in mind that this was written for someone who had no idea of what was going on.

If you have questions feel free to ask.

Thanks!
