PPM 9.22 Configure Module Page is blank while using IE9

Jump to solution

We've recently doing our upgrade from PPM 9.14 to 9.22. While doing impact studies, I can't open the configure module page using IE 9 while it was working correctly in mozilla firefox. IE 9 is a certified browser for PPM 9.22.

I've tested IE 8 even IE10 (compatible mode) but I'm still getting a blank page. This IE browser are all certified browser for PPM 9.22

Does anyone encounter this issue? How to solve it?

Hi,
There is a defect, this was from PPM 9.20 and IE 9 version.

please chechk security internet settings and also try the following steps:

1) Stop the server.

2) Delete tmp and work and run kJSPCompiler.sh. Delete the two directories \server<\\tmp and \server\\work (file://tmp%20and%20/server/work)>
Note: Repeat for all servers (nodes)
Note: Do not back these directories up as they will be re-created when the PPM instance is started.

3) Go to PPM_HOME/server/SERVER_NAME/log and re-name the serverLog.txt file. This will allow for a clean log to review.
Note: Repeat for all servers (nodes)

4) Restart server

5) Run kRunCacheManager.sh -A (clear all cache).

6) Clear ALL cache and history in Internet Explorer
If you have clustering, please repeat this for the entire nodes.

7) Clear the Client Java cache.
Start --> Control Panel --> Java --> Temporary Internet Files --> Delete Files

😎 Also clear the client-side Java Virtual Machine(JVM) Cache. (Control Panel -> Java Plug-in -> Cache Tab -> 'Clear'). Do so for ALL Java Plug-ins installed.

Hope it helps!
Carolina.

The issue still persists. Can you tell me which security internet settings I need to check or setup? Thanks.

Hi,

With IE9 you need enable this setting like image i have attached below:

After that please clear browser cache, temporary file and try again.

If these steps cannot resolve your problem please try to add the url in the Local zone in security tab in IE options.

Hope this help.
