PPM 9.32.0002 removing licenses

Jump to solution

Hi,

In 9.3 PPM started using a Licenseinstaller, anyone know where this information is stored or if its possible to remove licenses.

We had som issues with licenses and suddenly in one of our test environments we have double licenses. It would be nice to have the correct amount.

Hello Robert,

You can check the license information in the following tables:

- KNTA_LICENSE_DATASOURCE

- KNTA_SECRETKEY_DATASOURCE

You can remove the license files going to the PPM UI, then to the administration console, there is a new License tab and there you can delete the license in case you have duplicates.

PPM 9.3x works with multiple licenses with duplicate products if you want, you can use them to expand x product as needed. In this case you have many licenses installed and that’s why you’re seeing double licenses. In order to have the correct amount you can delete the duplicate file in the admin console.

Hope this helps,

Steven
