PPM - Double Byte Character Support

Hi All,

A couple questions on PPM regarding double-byte character support:

  • Does PPM support Double-byte characters in the DB?
  • If currently using single-byte, is there a process HP recommends to move to double-byte?
  • Are there concerns/recommendations in making this change on the database side when currently using a single-byte database?

And anything else that anyone has experience with in this would be helpful.

The specific double-byte language would be Kanji.

And if it matters - PPM 9.22.

Thanks in advance.

Re: PPM - Double Byte Character Support

Hi ScQuinn,

We support Japanese Language, we have a japanese language pack.

Does it answers your question?

Thanks,

Randall

Best regards,
Randall

Re: PPM - Double Byte Character Support

Does this require any changes to the Oracle DB to implement? Or is just applying the Japanese language pack sufficient?

Thanks.
