(PPM) Support: Error: ..must provide a value for the field ....to complete the validation.

Rules are not appropriately firing, specifically, rules are not able to find [REQ.REQUEST_ID] with the newly released Firefox versions from 33.1.0 to 38.1.0.

An error appears in the screen:

Error: 'You must provide a value for the field "Request No.:" to complete the validation.'

The defect “QCCR1L56486 Getting pop-up in Mozilla Firefox 33.0 when opening a request: "You must provide a value for the field…"” is related to this problem. It mentions that for the PPM 9.22 version, the Firefox versions supported are from 11 or later according to the Compatibility Matrix. However, there is a misunderstanding of the documentation because the versions supported for PPM 9.22 starts at Firefox 11 up to Firefox 31.2 per Extended Support Release (ESR).

Nevertheless, the officially fix for this problem will be included in this two specific versions 9.32 and 9.31.0003.

Re: (PPM) Support: Error: ..must provide a value for the field ....to complete the validation.

Hi,

I checked the Release Notes for both 9.31.0003 and 9.32 and the defect QCCR1L56486 is not present.

Can you please share more details on this? As far as I know, this is a much-awaited fix.

cheers

alex
