PPM Support Tip: 9.2 Regression for Workflow Notification to multiple Users

A new KCS article was published: KM00564152

When sending a Workflow Notification with a Token with multiple Users in its' value, notification errors due to database value with "#@#" separators are not translated in to ";"

Client had a Token that stored multiple Username values to set the "Cc" distribution in the Notification. When these values were pulled from the database, the separator "#@#" was not being translated in to ";".

For example, when sending an email, emails for users in the email header should be separated by semi-colons ";":;

Instead, the "#@#" is placed in to the email header which obviously causes problems identifying a valid user to send the email to:

Defect QCCR1L52581

This is a regression defect and will not be seen in 9.1 version.

Due to the complexity of the code involved, a one-off patch is not possible.

Sending to a single User works as expected, so sending to a group email address could be used as a workaround.
