PPM Support Tip: Copied users not linked to Org Units

KCS article: KM00728580

There is a User_A who is associated to Org Unit Org1. "Org1" Organization Unit is associated with Security Group "View Org1 Demands"

In the PPM "User Workbench" pane, In "User User_A" / Security Groups Pane :
- zero "Directly Linked Security Groups"
- in area "Security Groups Linked by Organization Association" one element : "View Org1 Demands".

If you "Copy" User_A to NewUser_B, Security groups are copied , but if you go through Organization Unit "Org1", NewUser_B is not a OrgUnit Member!

This is our current design and it is not a defect - as per the design, when copying users and adding these users to other org unit, their security settings are not associated with org unit.
So PPM cannot just copy users and their org unit by default.

The following documentation ticket was submitted, QCCR1L53716, in order to explain this limitation.
When copying users, only Security Groups linked to the user are copied, even Security Groups herited by Organization Units.
Known limitation: The relationships between the User and Organization Units are not copied.
Side effect due to this limitation: <<Association between a Security Group with an Org Unit>> is broken for the copied User account."
