PPM Support Tip: Error at creation of a baseline staffing profile for a proposal

KCS article: KM00710914

When trying to create a proposal and associate it a staffing profile, if trying to create a baseline staffing profile for this proposal, just before the creation of the project from the proposal, and using the following command:
An error is received - "The staffing profile must be associated with a project".

The command ksc_create_baseline_staffing_profile does at command level the same as the button "baseline" does in the PPM front end.

If you check a Staffing profile (SP) attached to a proposal you will see as it has no "baseline" button close to it, but if you see SP inside a project you can see the "baseline" button. That means a baseline can only be created into a SP associated with a project.

So you should try the following:

1) Create project
2) Create the baseline using the SP id of the newly generated project.
