PPM Support Tip: Execution step stop working.

Knowledge base article: KM00944668

Even if an execution step can be opened in workbench the workflow step can be corrupted for no apparent reason when there are more than one command lines being used in the source execution step.

To resolve the problem a change needs to be made in the source execution step to recomplete the same.

Possible solution steps:

  1. Create a new execution step: If a command line was identified as the problematic line.
  2. Delete the command for the original workflow step,
  3. Create a new execution step.
  4. Add the command that was failing for the original execution workflow step.
  5. Add the corresponding transitions to force the workflow to execute both (original and new one)steps.

  1. Modify the problematic execution workflow source step:
  2. Remove any command.
  3. Save the changes
  4. Add again the command previously deleted
  5. Save the changes
Best regards,
Randall
