(PPM) Support Tip: PPM/ALM integration fails when the ALM user's password contains special character

R&D has found a defect in PPM 9.32/ALM 12.53 integration

If we use ALM user's password which contains special characters like '<', '>' or '&'
regardless of it is an LDAP user or not, the integration fails from PPM web UI.

These passwords can be used to log on ALM or authenticate the RESTful web service connection from the browser,
however, those cannot be used to configure the ALM/QC integration from PPM web UI.

You would notice an error message like this:

Invalid QC/ALM username or password.
Contact your QC/ALM administrator for correct username and password, then try again.
