PPM Support Tip: Project link URL does not redirect to the Project Page

On PPM 9.21 or lower, when a user clicks on a project link from an email, the user is asked to provide the login credentials. This is done as the user is logging in for the first time. After providing the login credentials, instead of redirecting the user to the Project Page and the link is lost and it display the null page.

For example -  for this URL:

After providing the login credentials, user is redirected to this link instead of Project Overview page

This is the same issue as QCCR1L51817 - Error when clicking workflow action buttons on Project Details page. Despite its description says the error appears when clicking Workflow Action buttons, the root cause is the same - there are parameters that are missing after re-logining. The issue is fixed in PPM 9.22, so an upgrade is highly recommended.
