PPM Support Tip: Project settings issue - cost and effort tab -> scheduled effort in work plan

In project settings, under cost and effort tab -> scheduled effort in work plan users have initially selected following options:
1. The check box for 'Use Sceduled Effort during planning
2. Radio button for 'Automatically calculate Scheduled Effort'
3. Check box for 'Allow override of effort calculation mode in the work plan'.
After the project started, the user wants to change these settings to manual control mode for which we unchecked all these settings and selected the following settings:
1. The check box for 'Use Sceduled Effort during planning
2. Radio button for 'Manually enter scheduled effort per task assignment'
However, after changing this setting, at task level, the tasks are still in auto calculation mode. The manual mode is coming in only for the newly created tasks.
