PPM Support Tip: When upgrading from 9.1 to 9.2, Installation Wizard just closes
A new KCS article was published: KM00643714.
The following error was seen in the log:
Installation Wizard did not run because an incorrect version of Java was being used.
Once the appropriate JDK 1.7 was used, the Installation Wizard for the upgrade program ran as expected.
NOTE: Most of the time will get a pre-validation warning that the wrong Java version is being used; this issue was just happening in one particular environment.
